What's great about the Bond series is that everyone has their favorite bond and movie. So, dont feel guilty about which is your fav
Fun Fact, Judi Dench & Geoffrey Palmer spent about 10 seasons playing a couple in a British Comedy "As Time Goes By" in 1997 it was at the height of its popularity so to see them as "M" and the Admiral was surreal.
Money-Penny: You always were a “Cunning linguist” James…..and it went right over both of their heads. Lol. I love their naivety. 😂. They are both adorable.
Sadly, Desmond Llewelyn, who plays Q, is nearing the end of his time in the role at this point. He did one more Bond film. Pierce Brosnan’s 3rd entry, The World Is Not Enough. He died shortly after that film was completed. He was without a doubt the best Q by far and had one hell of a run. Amazing actor.
I will be in bed...with no popcorn before this begins. Pierce Brosnan was our James Bond growing up, GoldenEye and the game was everything. We were so reluctant about Daniel Craig being next in line, but Casino Royale was a gamble, that paid off in every way. This film is great. We were shaken, not stirred about it.
It's probably the most underrated Bond movie in the entire franchise, in my opinion. It's a terrific film with a terrific premise which is very relevant and only became more so in recent years when mogals like carver really showed how desperate they are to control all narratives. One of my favourites.
This is probably one of the most rewatchable Bond films. Lots of great action, brilliant music by David Arnold, great campy villain and a story that was pretty ahead of it's time as a lot of that stuff does happen nowadays. It’s a shame you probably won't react to The World Is Not Enough because that film is SOOOOOO UNDERRATED imo. The villain in that you would absolutely love.
Why am I not surprised that Cunning Linguist went over your two heads. You two are too darn wholesome for crude British humour! Haha ❤
this movie hits way harder in the "post truth" world we live in today.
