"I'm the bad guy? How'd that happen? I did everything they told me to." Such an underrated film.
"I'm the bad guy?" Such a powerful character study. So many people can relate to how he feels. Also, Michael Douglas has repeated stated in interviews that "Falling Down" is, personally, his favorite movie. He put ALL of himself into it and he considers it his best work.
"Now you're going to die wearing that stupid little hat."
Seeing a sad, squished hamburger hits harder with every yr that goes by
Michael, Douglas's character would absolutely lose it if he saw how much a can of soda cost today.
William: "How's the food??" Woman: *"Agaboggabygahh!!"* William: "I think we have a critic." - Hardest I ever saw my dad laugh😂
Notice the "Not Economically Viable" man(Vondie Curtis Hall) was wearing the exact same attire that Bill was wearing. Even had the same pens.
This takes place after the collapse of the Soviet Union, during widespread reductions in military spending and layoffs of military contracor engineers. The protestor arrested was one, as is Michael Douglas.
This was such a great and sad movie. Back when Hollywood had original ideas and stories.
To be fair, the manager at the burger joint would have sent me over the edge too.
