Best part for me: It wasn't about the end of the world, or the universe, or the multiverse. It was about saving one guy, and it was refreshing.
Why is no one talking about Nebula crying when she heard Rocket's voice? That solidified her as one of the best characters in the MCU. Her slow development into the family and her crying was just the way to break that news for us.
The reason for Adam warlock being “dumb” is because he was “literally born yesterday” so he’s supposed to resemble a person with the qualities of a young child
Hearing nebula say “he’s family” about rocket was heartwarming. She’s had crazy good development to go from a selfish villain vying for her fathers attention, to a guardian of the galaxy that finally has a home and family she cares about. Also, I kind of wish that Adam warlock would’ve had a line like “do I look like I was born yesterday?” because he pretty much was lol
I really liked the lesson they conveyed with gamora and Starlord. Not every love story gets a happy ending. And that’s okay.
When *Nebula* saw what they did to Rocket and said, “This is worse than anything Thanos has ever done to me.” it really hit me hard.
The actor for the main villian absolutely killed it with his performance
when rocket replied back to the villain "You didn't want to make things perfect. You just hated things the way they are." makes you really question what is perfection
i’m almost embarrassed to say that adam warlock was one of the best parts for me. every scene was a 10/10. will poulter’s line delivery and acting was hysterical
mantis was a standout tbh, they turned her character around, she was absolutely badass in this movie
