I absolutely love how both of these guys lack the dogmatic views that I so often see on the carnivore facebook pages........and one thing that's so ironic about it is that Shawn Baker is considered by many to be the start of the carnivore diet, or at least the recent popularity of it. I think it would do us all some good to at least listen to new ideas that arise concerning diet and at least give them some legitimate consideration. .
Been a keto/carnivore for a few years now and Dr Baker's guidance on that journey was instrumental. I tell everyone that Dr Baker saved my life and I mean it.
I've been on the Carnivore diet for 25 plus years, you have no idea the heat I took for it back then but I listened to my body and did what felt best for me. It resolved so many health issues that I didn't really care what people said and though I always feared I would die young as a result I'm now 50 and feel like I've held up better than 95% of people my age. It's been very interesting for me to watch this catch on the way it has as it was a huge learning curve for me with nobody to talk with about it.
Shawn Baker is not an ideologist I like that.

Thomas, great interview. Keep up the good work. I tried carnivore for a couple months and my workouts suffered. I was just tired. I added 3-5 pieces of fruit a day and some raw honey and i feel much better. My workouts are better and i am sleeping better.
Love to see Dr. Ford Brewer in this interview format. His knowledge of cholesterol and inflammation is really informative.
I’m eating meat and 1 apple a day. I feel amazing. As long as it’s a small amt of fruit it is great. 3 weeks in I feel amazing
Love fruit! Especially berries and red apples.
