The young lady that is sitting next to Judge Newman needs TONS of recognition! Every time somebody references case law all you see on the screen is her arm handing him the book open to the page that states the law. I was watching her this morning while they were all at the bench and she was intently listening to everything that was being said. She is a very very smart young lady. I don’t know if she’s a lawyer or a judicial clerk but she ROCKS! On a side note I love her glasses!!

So AM's response to if he was at the Kennels "No sir, not if my times were right" is an incredibly bizarre response and quickly tells that he is lying because anyone who wasn't there would likely say, "No, I know I wasn't there." Deflecting to the other person to decide based on his times reported is manipulative behavior. I know hindsight is 20-20, but I wonder if the detective caught that at the time.

Fantastic closing argument and the jury loved it according to court reporters.

An emotional second part for me. The prosecutor had me at Maggie was running to her baby. Not to Paul, PauPau or her son, her baby. Not fearing for her life from the shooter, she runs into danger. Won’t be able to get that out of my head for a long time.

I've followed this case since about episode 10 of the MM podcast. I've heard every argument inside and outside of court. But to hear Creighton say... He didn't say that Alex never said something to the effect of "the killers are out there somewhere. Go get them!" just really drives everything home. How could an innocent father and husband not BEG law enforcement to go find the people who murdered his family? I'd literally never stop calling the PD. They would block my number. They would have to get a restraining order to keep me out of station...

He dodged too many questions on the stand. He repeated all the questions back before he would give a shotty answer and I think he's lying and I think he's guilty even though I don't think the prosecution did a great job making things clear

I liked that Creighton pointed out "I hurt the ones I loved the most" when talking about consciousness of guilt. I remember perking up when Alec said that, but it seemed like he let that one go. Glad to see it wasn't missed. Was a very odd thing to say about your financial victims when you're testifying that you didn't murder your family.

I wanted Creighton to say so badly "Paul known as the little detective provided the strongest evidence to solve his and his mothers murder....the kennel video" In my opionion that would of been one of the strongest final statement he could of made.
