Let's face it the only reason why we get all of these fun stories. Is only because some idiot got promoted and tried changing they shouldn't be

Smoke story: Yo what the heck? You don't offer someone a cigarette when they've quit! Might as well offer someone a bottle of Jack Daniels right after an AA meeting!

I feel like if we heard that vacuum story from the customer service rep's POV, it'd be on Choosing Beggars and not Malicious Compliance 😂 "I bought this vacuum over a month ago and now it's on sale, give me my money back!"

Story 5: Honestly, them saying OP isn't allowed to talk about burnout essentially means "God, we don't care about your problems, therefore you are to stop talking about your problems". Like, really? Talking about your problems is an issue now? Wow.

Kohls doesn’t care about loss. A woman in exchanges admitted fatiguers would routinely loot items and they were told not to intervene.

I can't help but think the vacuum story is ai generated, the post mentions the same sale being at both Kohl's and Amazon(the $150 cost for the black friday special).

Story 5: "Hey we know this is a field of work with high burnout rate and we care about you needing self-care, but you ought to stop talking about the burnout you've been having from grief". Way to contradict yourselves there, management

Our new manager set up the rule, that everyone on the shift has to call the shift supervisor when they went for their coffee break, and when they returned. Picture the shift sup getting half a dozen calls between nine fifteen and ten thirty from disgruntled employees, while they're trying to keep phone lines open. We as a team decided to follow the rule to a t; whenever manager had shift supervision, you can bet we called her every. Single. Time. one of us went on break. Coffee, lunch, teatime, nevermind. We'd call her as told. She faltered within a month, so now it's back to just telling your next coworker.
