I quit drinking on Christmas day 2018. After years of partying I just began to hate the way alcohol made me feel. The easy part is actually just not putting alcohol into your mouth and drinking, the hard part is dealing with suppressed feelings, loss of friendships, loneliness, alienation from partners, learning how to have fun again, finding real human connections, pursuing new hobbies, knowing what to do when faced with actual boredom. Stay strong folks

28 days no booze, 72 days no smoking 56 year old , not hard to drink a bottle of wine in an evening few times a week. In the last 28 days what I have discovered about alcohol I can't believe its legal. The money saved so far from both £700 bought a really good bike and some really really nice clothes from Joe browns. Has changed my life.

I am on the brink of stopping drinking. I have always avoided these videos because it would make me feel bad about something that's hard for me to stop. Now I am using this as motivation 🙏 never give up
