Description

Toyota and Honda are generally the first two brands we think of when it comes to dependable, often class-leading vehicles. While both brands were a little late to the EV game, they’ve finally arrived with two midsize electric SUVs: tThe Honda Prologue and the Toyota BZ4X, which is also sold as the Subaru Solterra. In this video, Edmunds’ Clint Simone dives deep into both SUVs to find out if this is a win for Honda or Toyota. 00:00 Intro 00:25 Range 02:46 Driving Impressions 06:15 Technology 09:04 Interior 11:19 Cargo 12:25 Pricing 13:13 Edmunds' Take Subscribe to Edmunds https://www.youtube.com/user/edmundsvideo?sub_confirmation=1 for the latest car news, car reviews, car comparisons, car shopping and advice. I own a BZ4x and have absolutely no trouble seeing the gauges. Honestly, I’m not sure how you can adjust the seat so you can’t see the gauges. I actually enjoy not having to look through the steering wheel wheel to see the gauges and it gives you more of a heads up display. By the way, I’m 5’ 10”.

The BZ4X is a great car if you never road trip and have a garage to charge it.

Bz4x is great if you don't drive much, my dad got a 2025 and loves it. I drove it for a business trip about 150 miles and had no issue with charging it.

When you pair your Android cellphone, can you get the phone info on the center screen on either model? The reason I'm peeved at Mazda is that they did a software upgrade during a dealer visit which took away this capability permanently. When questioned, they talked about the "Mazda Experience" that they didn't want me to disturb. So, is there a "Toyota Experience" or a "Honda Experience" that I'm not allowed to supplement with my own cellphone's content?
