Redford had the best shocked reaction to Atwood being shot
Glad to see you two on some classic movies recently. Or, as I call them…”the good stuff” 🤪
Wow, never seen anyone react to this gem. Great pick!
This post-Watergate thriller captures the paranoid tenor of the times, thanks to Sydney Pollack's taut direction and excellent performances from Robert Redford and Faye Dunaway.
Movies in the 70's loved ambiguous (or even dark) endings, we are left to assume Turners fate but it's hard to see it being a happy ending... One of the best thrillers of that era though.
RIP Robert Redford, Max Von Sydow, John Houseman and Cliff Robertson for making this an entertainment spy thriller.
One of my favorite movies. I really like Max Von Sydow's character. Action that is realistic and circumstance that are believable, not Hollywood exaggeration.
Absolutely one of my top Robert Redford movies of all time. Was lucky to meet him once in the early 90's in New York City. Happy to report he was a truly great soul with a genuine sense of humor.
Way to go Ladies! A true 70's thriller/suspense classic. See, back in the day, we had to pay attention and figure things out. No quick easy answers and "Hollywood" endings all wrapped up neatly.
The Twin Towers were recently completed and open to the public when this film was shot. 😪
