What’s been frustrating about this trial day, is that these excellent “seasoned” veteran attorneys, literally acted as if this was the first trial they have ever conducted. The style of questioning, especially with the witness named Michelle, was… all over the place, the questioning didn’t flow well, and both of them (especially the male prosecutor) seemed so disorganized. I’m not sure if it was because it was a Monday or something, but today’s questioning was so bizarre and frustrating to watch as a viewer, so I can only imagine how the jury felt. I bet they’re exhausted, and that their brain feels like mush.

The caregiver is an extremely important witness but apparently neither side wants to hear what she has to say. They want to tell her what she said...

I feel like I'm watching the Prosecution & the Defense actively work together to prove that he did it but in a way that's utterly impossible to convict him 🤦‍♀️

Emily you are NOT being too tough on the prosecution team! The victims deserve better.

My understanding of the chaotic case so far: - Maggie doesn't pick up THREE times - Alex does NOT call Paul, who's with Maggie - Instead of driving by the kennels like he always did when Paul was there, he just leaves the other way? - It's after dinner, he's not running late for anything, the detour takes hardly any extra time, and yet, he's just like "eh 🤷‍♂whatevs" - His daddy is about to die any minute and yet, he doesn't leave work early to visit him. - The only 2 missing weapons, except for one everybody appearantly knew about, are the exact ones used to murder Maggie and Paul. - Because Paul made a stupid desicion which resulted in the death of an adolecent girl, Alex was about to be exposed of EVERYTHING he had been hiding, which included: * stealing millions from the sons of the woman who helped raise his sons and tragically died on HIS property. * stealing millions upon millions from clients, which are victims of horrendous accidents. * shaminglelings with bank loans left and right. * his smart CFO was starting to catch up and grilled him about it. * he's shuffling with property to protect it from legal consequences. * his daddy is about to die, the man whose legacy rests upon Alex shoulders. What Alex doesn't wanna do is shatter his perception and pride of him in his daddy's last days of life. * plus more money/reputation shenanigans, all resulting in extreme pressure, resulting in a beyond desperate man. - He tells the woman who saw him during the most critical time, which forms his alibi, to lie. - He hires someone to kill him a few months later, which ultimately fails. - He calls 911 from his car - He TOUCHES the dead bodies either in a white T which is completely spotless MINUTES later, or he does so before changing and washing up, even though the killer is suposedly on the loose, which is why he grabbed a gun to protect his safety while police are on the way. - Maggie's phone is found ditched on the way to his mom's house. - Paul's phone is magically on top of his body. - There were dogs there who would've gone wild if a stranger where to violate their owners. - It was dark enough to see headlights if anyone else came over. - There was a clear enough view from the main house to the kennels. - The vehicle in which both victims traveled to the kennels is unaccounted for. - The bullets that killed the victims were found all over the property - There is no trace of any stranger with ill will visiting the kennels that day. - *By all accounts, despite all his inconceivably bad situation of malfeasons about to be exposed and his father on his death bed, Alex Murdaugh appeared 100% normal, calm, and happy. The people who knew him best saw a NO trace of hardship in him.* Maybe SLED completely failed to do their job on scene, maybe they all screwed up. Maybe the prosecutors are all over the place and don't have any clue how to ask open questions or treat witnesses with grace. Maybe they are leaving a hundred loose ends. There is STILL no reasonable way anyone but Alex Murdaugh could've murdered Maggie and Paul. There are questions with each piece of evidence because the prosecutors, SLED, and the local PD are making an absolute fool of themselves but when you zoom out and look at all the evidence as a whole, you cannot make a *reasonable* alternate story, despite all the gaps. All the arguments for each individual gap contradict eachother or are completely improbable.

The laundry detergent has got to be Gain! Lol I'm seriously having a hard time with the testimony of Paul's friends. They say he was such a wonderful guy & a loyal friend...Are they talking about the guy who leaves $9,000 guns lying around, loses boats & gets tanked, slaps & spits on his girlfriend, crashes his boat, killing one of his best friends' girlfriend & then has his grandaddy & daddy come to the hospital to help him cover it up. Sounds like he was a spoiled brat to me. And then there's Maggie who actually got in the car with one of the parents of the kids on the boat (possibly Mallory's but I can't remember), while they're waiting at the scene for news about Mallory, and tries to low-key bribe her into saying that Paul wasn't driving the boat. Did Paul & Maggie deserve what happened to them, absolutely not. But Jesus this family was a bunch of rich, entitled A-Holes.

Everyday I keep waiting for the prosecution to bring a clear and coherent argument to support what most of us suspect happened, but everyday they disappoint. If they don’t turn it around in the coming couple of days then I am resigned to no one ever being held accountable for these murders. 😡

⏩ *Miss Shelley the Caregiver said she "DID NOT KNOW" if it was a raincoat, NOT that "IT WAS NOT" a raincoat.* Those are two DIFFERENT things. *Defense Council are major GASLIGHTERS.* Ugh!

At this point this trial feels like a waste of time. The prosecution just can't get to the point.. ever. There are so many opportunities yet time and time again the point is missed of why that witness is there. SMDH

Prosecution is making me so uncomfortable every time he gets in that nice woman's personal bubble. That would have made me so nervous. 😟
