First story: there's NO way that the sister suffer from JUST an eating disorder. There are 100% other underlying issues like a personality disorder on top of anorexia and the whole maternal family lowkey justify her behavior towards OP.

"She’s sick. She can't control what she says." That's a cute way of trying to say she's above accountability or trying to Shield her from accountability

*1st Story:* Since the sister is 18, all OP has to do is call CPS and say, "I don't feel safe with this adult" and give the threatening letter as proof. Let's see the parents try to explain to government officials why they're allowing child endangerment.

For the first story, I genuinely do think that OP needs to talk to her grandparents. And see about potentially moving in with them at least temporarily , because this really is not a fair living situation for her , just because her sister is mentally ill

The last story had updates: Other coworkers had asked for a breakdown but were similarly dismissed. OP went to HR. After investigating it turns out the guy collecting the funds was keeping it to pay for his mother's medical bills (she had cancer). He ended up being fired for fraud and stealing from the other employees

"We need to spend more." Said no financially responsible adult ever.

The sister doesn't need "family to come together," the sister needs family to hold her accountable for her actions.

" we asked them to leave for over an hour before they left." You should have called the police after 5 minutes
