Last Story: Mama lived long enough to see herself become the villain. Her abusive parents and late miscarriage triggered serious mental illness in her, that's not her fault. But refusing treatment to get her life and emotions back on track (not the emergency hospitalizations) was 100% on her.
"I wish my daughter wasn't here".....wow depressed or not that's an awful thing to say I feel sorry for the daughter imagine living your life knowing that one of your parents wished you never existed
Birth control story: David needs therapy, and asap! Keeping judgments about what he did aside, he needs to talk to somebody who is qualified to help him through his guilt and his grief. If only so that he can love and take care of his daughter to the best of his abilities.
Last story: I hope those children never fully realize their mom killed herself because they disappointed her. The thing is, they could never hope to be like Alice because Alice never lived and therefore can only be an idealized version of a child. She'll always exist as a daydream, a perfect baby angel, a "what if", a fantasy. She'll never be the baby that cried too much, the baby that gave her parents sleep deprivation, the kid who made a horrible mess or broke a window, the kid who acted ungrateful or threw tantrums, the teenager who cussed out her mom or broke curfew or flunked math class. Kids are messy and even the best behaved ones are imperfect and parenthood is hard. I wish the mom had gotten therapy instead of slipping so deeply into a fantasy of a life that never was and never would be. I hope the kids and the dad will be okay and healthy as a perfectly imperfect family.
The first story: if the father wanted to confess then call a priest or a chaplain. That is one of the things we are good for. What an a*hole for putting that on his son's shoulders.
The last story......no one is commenting on how these kids were way too young for kids and how the girl likely had serious mental breakdown
Last story: I sadly also lost my first. I was sent into depression and struggled to hear babies cry anywhere without wanting to cry/hold someone’s baby. With tons of support and a trip with great therapist, I got the help I needed. Now I’m finishing out December 2025 with my rainbow baby! Couldn’t be happier! I genuinely can’t wait to hold him. I’m going mad wanting to hold my sweet boy!
I feel like the last story is a reminder that a person who dies can be anything the living wants them to be. *edit to add detail comments pointed out I missed* "A man gets into a taxi and the driver talks about a man who was perfect in every way, always on time, never rude or unreasonable, capable of everything and anything. When the passenger asks "wow who is this man?" The driver responds, "i dont know I never met him. He was my wifes late husband who passed away." I believe this was Rslashes (paraphrased) quote from another video but I could be wrong.
A friend of mine tried ecstasy. Realized she was only married for financial reasons and because they had been together since they were like 15. Got divorced, moved to another city and started a new career. No wonder they're researching the use of these kind of drugs with therapy.
I'm REALLY proud of Burger joint OP. He's learning the lesson my grandma taught me: "Time is worth nothing if it has no quality to it." Money is only a physical representation of time. Time spent obtaining resources, crafting things and/or performing services. The OP could have a whole lot of time (finances) but he'd have very limited quality because of how the time is spent. So he ensured he had enough stability before pursuing more quality. Presuming his spouse/kid consent and encourage/assist in the transition, and he properly addresses any issues the change brings to his relationships on the long term, he's living the dream many feel like they cannot afford.
