The good ol days was the age before social media
I remember when I used it primarily to keep in touch with friends and family out of state. My last day was when I posted about President Trump’s taxes, stating I’m less concerned with the tax returns of a millionaire businessman, rather I’m concerned with how many politicians get rich so quickly when in office. I got so many hate responses FROM MY OWN FRIENDS…logged out, never touched it since. Don’t miss it, don’t care.
Zuckerberg is a top 5 All time villian in world history
I remember when it was all Farmville, now look at it; "progress".
It’s kinda like how for the longest time I preferred listening to the radio over my own personal music when driving. And a lot of times people would ask why and I would just say “idk I think I like the fact that there are other people listening to the same song right now.” It’s hard to explain but there is definitely something in us that craves a shared experience
I went from many friends to no friends in person, they all migrated online. I thought "if you won't make the effort as I've always done, C'ya"
In the 80’s as a kid. I thought tv was evil. I had old parents. I only watched history films of WW II and nature shows. I played outside all day and night. I lived in a big city with a lot of friends. I feel lucky. Even though danger existed in the city I lived in Me and friends just road bikes and played sports and worked. We lived better than kids now.
Stay off Facebook and it doesn’t affect you. It’s like any other trash anti social media.
