this hit home 😅 bc i kept thinking harder workouts would “fix” me but i just felt drained and heavy all the time. spent yrs frustrateddd. Then a friend randomly sent me Eat.Like.a.Woman.Protocol work of -L. Green. weirdly everythng shifted… 28 lbs gone and i dont feel stuck in that cycle anymore. kinda crazy nobody talks abt this.

I left the army in ‘09 and really quickly started having PTSD symptoms. Constant fear and panic, no sleep, drinking to excess was my only relief. Binge eating junk food, smoking cigarettes, never leaving my house, I put on a lot of weight. Fast forward, I’m now almost 50, 330 lbs. and keto has helped me find some relief from eating disorders. I’m kinda hoping that with your platform you could push some people in the science/health community to study people with severe ptsd and obesity. I have a lot of ups and downs but keto has helped me have some control over eating junk and I think it’s because it stabilizes blood sugar. I’m finally counting protein, fat and carbs instead of lazy keto which was just sticking to super low carbs and fat with some meat. My body is stuck in fight or flight so anything that could help people like me would be great content. Thanks

2 things helped me counter the cortisol and adrenal rush: ACV, 2 tablespoons with 16oz of warm water every morning and Magnesium glycinate, as needed; usually after a workout. That said, long term fasting is when I’m ramped-up the most! So, I’ve had repeatable evidence that these work. Of course, it may not work for you? But, worth a try.

Super low protein diet activates massive fgf 21 elevation allowing for massively increased metabolism with higher carb intake

This is so on point and I wish I had heard that 5 years ago. I kept getting injured for years. I recently realized this, cut back and started seeing progress again without injury.

Here's a summary: --- **Meet FGF-21 – your body's two-faced stress messenger.** 🧬 It's not cortisol. It drives insulin resistance and visceral belly fat. It explains why exercise sometimes feels great… and other times breaks you down completely. 😩 Here's the kicker: FGF-21 is supposed to be your **cellular firefighter** 🧑‍🚒 – released during exercise and fasting to put out stress. But a 2018 *Nature* study found that in metabolically unhealthy people, the firefighters get **tired**. You develop **FGF-21 resistance**. The messenger dies. Cortisol keeps screaming, but no one puts out the fire. 🔥 Result? You exercise → feel wrecked. Diet → exhausted. Cold plunge → get sick. You can't win. **The fix: Think PULSE, not PRESSURE.** ✅ FGF-21 loves short bursts. So: - ⏱ **15–20 minute workouts** with intensity + recovery. Not 60 minutes of chronic stress. - 🚨 Warning sign: You gain 3–5 lbs of water weight after exercise? That's inflammation. Dial it down. - 💧 Stay hydrated, but also **train fat-burning** (low carb / short fasts). Burning fat creates *metabolic water* inside your mitochondria. Clean fuel. **Live like interval training.** 🎯 - Fast → then feast. Too much fasting = FGF-21 resistance. - Sauna or cold plunge? Go hard but **infrequently**, then recharge. - You're not infinite energy. Stress from work, kids, life already raises cortisol. Don't pile on. When you pulse your stressors – exercise, fasting, heat, cold – cortisol drops. Everything feels harmonious again. ☯ **One sentence:** Short, intense, recover, repeat – for workouts, fasting, and life itself.

This is what AI have to say about your face compounded from the last 10 of your thumbnails: someone with this appearance might be dealing with fatigue, stress, poor sleep, allergies, dehydration, heavy workload, smoking history, or simply normal aging and genetics.
