The hardest part of fasting isn’t hunger — it’s breaking old habits. Once your mind adapts, your body follows. Discipline really is the best supplement.
During a fast, 90% of the day is: Open fridge → stare → close Open cupboard → stare → close Repeat every 15 minutes like a broken NPC
Dr bergs electrolyte powder really has helped me during a fast . And a good multivitamin. It stops our body from craving to try to find vitamins and minerals thru food intake .

This is my 4th day of no sugar. Had a sweet tooth since the 5th grade or before. Blood tests 5 yrs ago showed me as being 1 point below normal regarding Glucose. So I basically had high glucose back then teetering on the edge. I'm 57. I got so sick, I just quit sugar. MY back hurt so bad, injured it years ago so I think the inflammation got to be too much. Oddly, this is the 4th day and the last 2 days I've felt so satisfied. I don't eat all day. I no longer get up all night to urinate. I feel satisfied. I added magnesium, glucosamine, leutein, Vit D+K. Cut out my usual vegetable juicing as I think the sugar was bad. My teeth don't feel dirty, no film. This is a turning point, sleeping better. I've been addicted to sugar all my life. Already in shape sorta so Mtn Biked up the hill yesterday for 30 min, gained about 600 feet elevation. Back within 1 hr. Did the same today, got in 45 min without stopping. I suspect I will lose a ton of weight. No desire for sugar, boy was I an addict! My eyesight is better too, eyes aren't burning like they usually are. I can see better.
