I believe the effects many experience stem more from altering brain chemistry via MAOA inhibition, not from true mitochondrial enhancement. This distinction carries significant weight, especially given the potential for serious interactions like serotonin syndrome if combined with common medications or supplements. So, rather than using a dye that could hinder your natural energy systems, let's explore how to genuinely fuel your mitochondria through targeted nutrition and avoid the metabolic roadblocks that truly impair their function. --- --- --- If you can't get fresh heart & liver in your diet, try our 100% grass-fed desiccated beef organs at Heart & Soil: https://shop.heartandsoil.co/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=video&utm_campaign=MethyleneBlue Looking for a healthy and delicious snack? Let's get the facts straight here. MB only turns your brain or heart blue in VERY high IV doses, and it is TEMPORARY (not mentioned in this video). Just like your tongue turns blue, TEMPORARILY. MB was one of the first synthetic drugs ever approved by the FDA and has been used to treat malaria, and is the first-line treatment (currently) for methemoglobinemia (a condition where hemoglobin can’t carry oxygen properly). It works by helping convert methemoglobin back into functional hemoglobin, restoring the blood’s oxygen-carrying capacity. There are SO many studies on MB and it has literally been used medicinally for over 100 years. In low doses it is VERY safe. That being said...I don't see why Paul is creating so much fear around using this. I love your content and everything you do Paul, but this is borderline fear mongering against something that is perfectly safe. Does everybody need to be using MB? No, probably not. And I think we can all agree (based on the research) that the main group of people who would even benefit from using it are people with mitochondrial dysfunction, chronic fatigue, people in detox or oxidative stress recovery, and people with neurodegenerative diseases ....which is likely a lot of people in our country given our terrible food/health system and all of the autoimmune issues people are experiencing. I have been taking MB for around 6 months now, AS NEEDED. Not everyday. When I don't sleep enough, or I am feeling sick, it's incredible. And when I'm experiencing brain fog or fatigue, it's also incredible. Not only that, but it a great tool when you're flying a lot and exposing yourself to high elevation on a regular basis. All of this being said, diet is the real foundation of health and wellness, and I typically feel great when I am eating lots of good quality animal foods and getting enough sleep. So let's keep food as the foundation, and think of things like MB as back-up TOOLS that can be used when you are struggling. Rant over.

I am in premenopausal, have 3 kids, husband is always traveling for work, we have a small farm that I work by myself. Have to say I was in deep depression to see that I had so much work and no energy. I don’t take it every day, maybe 3 times a week, max 10 Drops ( 5mg). Changed my life, I am in a better mood, I am feeding my family with home cooked meals, taking care of the land and the animals and still hitting the gym 3 times a week. I tried everything before, I have a great funcional doctor, but the difference is huge. This prefer to have quality of life and not just live to survive.

So... In other words; "Hey, don't buy that stuff over there (which has gotten me out of bed and back on my feet), buy THIS stuff over here (which did absolutely nothing to improve my exhaustion!)!"... Yeah, cool ...
