Studios are dropping a lot of exciting trailers and sneak peeks from upcoming movies at Cinemacon this year and DC is no exception with this new sneak peek from James Gunn's (Guardians of the Galaxy, The Suicide Squad, Peacemaker) upcoming Superman. Starring David Corenswet (The Politician, Hollywood, Pearl) as the titular Superman, the film also stars Nicholas Hoult (The Favourite, Mad Max: Fury Road, X-Men First Class) as Superman's arch nemesis, Lex Luthor with Rachel Brosnahan (The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, Hosue of Cards, I'm Your Woman) as the intrepid Lois Lane. Skyler Gisondo portrays Jimmy Olsen (The Righteous Gemstones, The Amazing Spider-Man, Licorice Pizza), the eager and loyal Daily Planet photographer. Sara Sampaio appears as Eve Teschmacher (Crisis, Billions, Carga), Lex Luthor’s enigmatic assistant. Isabela Merced takes on the role of Hawkgirl (Dora and the Lost City of Gold, Sicario: Day of the Soldado, Sweet Girl), showcasing her action chops in the DC Universe. Edi Gathegi plays Mister Terrific (X-Men: First Class, StartUp, The Blacklist), a brilliant inventor and tactician. Nathan Fillion steps into the boots of Guy Gardner/Green Lantern (Castle, Firefly, The Rookie), a brash and bold member of the Lantern Corps. Anthony Carrigan transforms into Metamorpho (Barry, Gotham, Bill & Ted Face the Music), a hero with powerful elemental abilities. María Gabriela de Faría portrays The Engineer (Deadly Class, Animal Control, Yo Soy Franky), a high-tech antihero with a body fused with nanotechnology. Wendell Pierce plays Perry White (The Wire, Treme, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan), the no-nonsense editor of the Daily Planet. Also appearing is Beck Bennett in an undisclosed role (Saturday Night Live, The Mitchells vs. the Machines, DuckTales). Milly Alcock (House of the Dragon, Upright, The Gloaming) is also rumored to cameo as Supergirl.
