I stopped relying on food alone for my Vitamin D too. I realized it’s hard to get enough just from diet, especially during the winter months. I came across some great supplement recommendations in Secret Supplements that turn you into a Superhuman, and adding Vitamin D3 has been a game-changer for keeping my energy up and supporting my immune health.

Regarding sunlight and Vit. D, more and more I tend to lean into the work of Dr. Jack Kruse (neurosurgeon). He talks about and demonstrates not just the importance of sunlight/ sun exposure on bare skin and eyes, but also being at "relatively" high altitudes (but below the snow line 😅), and being near zero latitude for optimal results. Or, the option is cold environment exposure in lieu of direct low latitude sunlight. Basically a sunny cold day in upper Canada, Iceland, Greenland.

I have a vitamin D defficiency, apparently. So does my Father. I live in the greyest part of the PNW, and i eat tons of eggs, oysters, and Vitamin D rich foods. Thank you for the information, as this has been creating other health problems for me!

The waste from meat is so low people think they are constipated, and it's absorbed by the small intestine as an amino acid soup. It's carbs and plants that produce large stools, or as you said produce a lotta waste...
