We left a whole component out of this equation, and that is people who have to work at night, which is a big sector of the population…doctors, nurses, service workers, pilots. Is it possible to reach out to Dr Po for her recommendations for this segment of the population, pls?
Could you get clarification from Dr Poe? She wasn't able to finish her answer. If I go to bed at 9:00 and start my sleep cycles and the next night something happens and I am kept up until 2:00 in the morning....why don't my cycles start at 2:00 in the morning if I get 8 hours sleep regardless of what time I go to bed.
Dr. Gina Poe just dropped a sleep masterclass on the Mel Robbins Podcast. Learning how to enhance my sleep for better memory, learning, and energy is a game-changer. Thanks, Mel, for bringing such insightful experts to help us level up our life game. Time to catch those ZZZs and supercharge my brain.
This is the first discussion on sleep that has actually CONVINCED ME to get to sleep earlier! What excellent explanations from Dr Poe, and Mel, your summarising for us when you get those lightbulb moments, are always appreciated Oh, and I greatly appreciate you including th interviewee's name in the title of your video now (more many reasons 🙏🏽), and I'm sure the interviewee appreciates their name being shown in the video title too 🙏🏽 The written summary in your show notes here is very helpful as a reminder to what we've just heard too Thank you, Mel, Team, and Dr Gina Poe 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Do you have an unedited version of your conversation? I know it had to be edited for time, but sounds like there was more info and data that was edited out.
I'm confused on how circadian rhythm works if you are up before the sun is up. I.e. this morning I went to the gym at 6 am and the sun hadn't come up yet.
Mel...i wish you have pused for more calrification on how we miss 1stage of sleep if we sleep late at night. I am confused like you .
And now I understand why I dream of new activities while I'm sleeping 👍🏾
11:49 I asked my husband if he felt me jumping in my sleep😂seriously thought I was falling down the stairs
I am really interested in this topic, and I have searched about sleep, so thank you so much for giving this topic such a blessing !!! Love it......
