3 hours of Theo commenting a 1h video of Prime commenting a 30 min video of Y combinator. Should I make a 10h video commenting Theo's video ?
I love how a 0.5hr YC video turned into a 1.5hr prime video which turned into 3hr theo video. Almost a full work day of people reacting to vibe coding
That's a lot of minutes for a Theo video
Claiming a "100x speedup" in one month is so extreme that it's hard to take seriously. To put it in perspective, a task that once required a full 8-hour workday would now take just 5 minutes. No matter how impressive AI tools have become, I have to call bullshit on this one. If such a speedup applied to you, then you were (and realistically still are) a terrible engineer, and you're now shipping 100x more bugs than before.
Can't wait for Prime's 10 hour reaction video
The whole round table feels like an episode of Silicon Valley.
"the video is 1min in, prime is 6min in and I'm 20min in" lol
11:50 "Previously the cost of deleting a handful of files that 20 people built over years was not viable. Now I can roll out 3 alternatives look to them and see how I feel about it" - That is actually scary. I get chills just imagining those legacy codebase where you remove a print statement and the code breaks, now imagine a handful of files written by people that don't even work there anymore 😱
27:34 i like reviewing code in reasonable chunks that are reasonably well written. My experience so far is that vibe coders end up pushing THOUSANDS OF LINES of code that they haven't read and I'm responsible for the outcome 💀
Only watched half. My point is that craftsmanship will be still important, the whole reason T3 Chat exists is that OpenAI and Anthropic frontend teams are sloppy.
