ICE TO SEE YOU!
Poison Ivy is all I remember from this and all I WANT to remember!
2:27 Chris O'Donnell certainly sounds like a young man who understood the nature of the business and industry demands - seems like a cool, sane guy
"we can take it easy and review any old shit" killed me
I don't care what anyone says, seeing Arnold having fun as Mr Freeze makes the movie worth watching
For me, Schwarzenegger was the biggest reason why I enjoyed the movie more than actually disliking it. It's a camp fest, but Schwarzenegger is just a bliss to see having fun.
So here's my thing with this movie & "Batman Forever"... B&R is actually the first Batman/superhero movie I ever watched as a kid in about 99/2000 and I was OBSESSED.. I watched the vhs over and over and over & to this day this is still my favorite Batman with Forever a close second. I credit Batman & Robin for my love over the top, campy films. It was the first movie I can remember being totally fixated on the scenery around the characters. You can imagine my surprise as I got older and watched the Burton films (which I also love) and started reading internet forums where this movie was ripped to shreds. I understand why people at the time of these movies being made were disappointed. But now with years and however many Batman movies & media in the rear view, these movies are a relic of their time. Schumacher's attention to detail in his two films is every bit as impressive as Nolan's in the Dark Knight trilogy. His version of Gotham is fricken INSANE. We're bound to and have had how many serious, grounded, critically acclaimed Batman movies? But something like "Batman Forever" & especially "Batman & Robin" will more than likely never be made again. It's easy to imagine something up that looks like real life.. but it takes a certain kind of personality & brain to think up the shit that Schumacher was putting on screen back then. & don't even get me started on the music.. The soundtrack to Ivy's dance?? ICONIC
If we’re including animated projects I believe Alan Tudyk has been in the Most DC projects/characters with a total of 19 characters
Minority here, I know, but I thought Clooney was the most believable Bruce Wayne. If Batman, as he refers to himself in his thoughts, acted like Clooney when portraying Bruce Wayne, who would believe he was Batman? Perfect millionaire playboy persona.
If I'd been thinking, when Batman slid down the back of the dinosaur, I'd have shouted out, "Yabba Dabba Doo".
