In “Nami Deerest,” the Straw Hats arrive at the snowy Drum Kingdom in search of medical help for Nami (Emily Rudd — Fear Street Part Two, Hunters), who has fallen gravely ill during their voyage. Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy — The Imperfects, Who Killed Sara?) and Sanji (Taz Skylar — Boiling Point, Villain) carry her up the treacherous mountain to seek out the eccentric doctor Dr. Kureha, where they meet her unusual assistant Tony Tony Chopper—a reindeer who ate the Human Human Fruit. Meanwhile, Marine Captain Smoker and Tashigi continue closing in on Baroque Works as the dangerous pirate king Wapol begins making moves to reclaim the kingdom. Episode 7, “Reindeer Shames,” dives into Chopper’s heartbreaking backstory as Dr. Kureha recounts the story of Dr. Hiriluk, the outlaw doctor who raised Chopper and inspired his dream of curing every disease. Through Hiriluk’s tragic sacrifice and his famous speech about how a person truly dies when their dream disappears, the episode delivers one of the most emotional storylines in the series while setting the stage for Wapol’s return to power. The season finale, “Deer and Loathing in Drum Kingdom,” brings the arc to an explosive showdown as Wapol attacks the island with soldiers fused with their weapons using his Munch Munch Fruit powers. Zoro (Mackenyu — Rurouni Kenshin: The Final, Pacific Rim: Uprising), Usopp (Jacob Romero Gibson — All Rise, Greenleaf), and the citizens of Drum fight to defend their home while Luffy faces Wapol directly.
