We are on day 896 and the only murder we can prove so far is Bubba killed the chicken
I think AM is going to walk on this. It was a shoddy enough investigation from the start. I think he did it, but wouldn’t even be 80% sure on that. The jury are going to have a tough time with this one.
Dick actually ordering dinner —“I’ll have a bacon tomato—well, let me ask you this, you got lettuce? Ok, I’ll take a bacon lettuce; well let’s walk this back a little, you toast your bread? Ok, ok, I’ll take a bacon tomato lettuce sand—well now let’s go back do you have real mayonnaise or Miracle Whip?” Waitress/waiter—throws order pad and runs screaming out of restaurant never to be seen at the restaurant again.
If someone was telling me a story in this convoluted of a roundabout way and this slowly, I would probably just walk away and shut the door in their face.
Replay crew here - why aren't the prosecution making more of the fact that Alex is from an old Southern family with a reputation to protect? This is a family with deep, deep roots in the old South - if Alex had realized the jig was up, it isn't beyond the realm of possibility that he decided the only way forward for the dynasty is for he, Maggie, and Paul to go out in a blaze of glory and set Buster up to save the family's reputation for future generations. Alex has said multiple times that his intent was for "Buster to get everything" - and if everything had gone as planned, Buster would have had the sympathy of the community. Clean slate for the Murdaugh dynasty, as it were.
Where were dogs when you came back? (From mom’s, after denying he was at the kennels) Alex: “They were like they were when I —- (stops himself) I didn’t put dogs up. “
Emily, I love seeing your sons come by to see you when they get home. It’s precious. ❤
Ayye for replay crew!
Jim: you didn't do enough investigating? Also Jim: why'd you do so many tests?
"Jumping around like House of Pain" I. Fucking. Died. Emily, you are my people.
