Watching this guy fumble through making excuses for why people are angry at the healthcare system while having a massive vested interest in the status quo is pretty laughable. People aren't anti-capitalist, they are anti-unregulated monopoly that has permeated every level of government.
"Ideologically motivated" right ? Because when you or a loved one are dying and your health insurance refuses to honor their end of the deal, your anger and frustration are nothing more than "ideological differences" These billionaires are so out of touch.
How can you have a discussion about the cost of Healthcare in America and completely gloss over the fact that it's much cheaper in other countries? He acts like people are too stupid to realize that their taxes would pay for Medicare for all, but that's not the issue! Look at the cost of insulin in Europe vs. America BEFORE INSURANCE. Consider that in the US your insurance is tied to your job, so if you get too sick to work and REALLY need insurance, that's when you lose it. Or the fact that if you're dying, you can't just decide not to have the care; its a NEED and you have to pay whatever they charge. And you can't make informed decisions because there's no way to know what a procedure will cost before you're billed. If they code something wrong, you have no recourse. You can appeal it, but no one is holding these companies accountable. They just deny your appeal. People are literally dying and going bankrupt because of a problem all other developed nations have solved. All this boiled down to, "Nobody wants to pay for it!" Edit: I want to reiterate that I'm saying Healthcare is cheaper in other countries BEFORE INSURANCE. For instance a vial of insulin in Europe costs $10-40 and in the US costs $275. What does that have to do with taxes? Thanks for reading, this is my first ever rant 💙
US citizens pay 2.5 times for thier health, but have the lowest life expectancy and the highest child mortality, in comparison to the rest of the developed world (Europe etc.).
Why is this man on a media blitz?
Take a look how much stock Marc Andreessen has in these Healthcare companies and you will see why he gave his opinion lol.
11:43 dude Chris’s totally miss-characterizing it. It’s not about them not paying people out. It’s about them denying care completely and people dying.
8:04 What what…. Stop being divisive… people of all political ideologies were championing Luigi. I guess you have not seen the shambles of Ben Shapiro’s comment section. I know they lost subscribers that day. It is actually corporate media not giving him shine.
