Two years ago I had really become desperate to gain control of my poor eating habits after 40 years of yo-yo dieting. I was at my heaviest and so unhappy. I prayed to Jesus for helpβ¦next day up popped Dr. Fung on my video feed, an answer to prayer. I started with 16/8, then easily progressed to OMAD. I lost 60 pounds in 6 months; along the way my body was telling me βthis is the wayβ. Now, two years in and counting, my weight has stabilized and Iβm finally living a normal healthy life, free of food controlling me. Holy crap! It actually works! ππ! I started 3 weeks ago, fasting 16 hours a day and went from 202lbs to 189lbs!! Going to keep going !
Fasting is also free. That's the best part. No need to spend money, no drugs involved, clears your brains, cleanse your body. Everyone needs to do this.
Here in Ethiopia, where majority of the people is orthodox Christian, we fast 21 hr. And we have 7 mandatory periods of fasting. The total number of fasting days are 264. The fasting is done starting from age 7 as result it has become a habit for most Ethiopian. As an Ethiopian I have been in good body shape and health.
