I had a stroke and parts of my brain died,currently trying to develop new neural pathways
PTSD completely destroyed my brain for 25 years, well at least I thought so at the time. It was only once I discovered ketosis that a sense of calm came over me and I was able to make meaningful change. When I started adding MCT oil to my diet a few months ago, that was the real game changer. I felt the ketone boost immediately and not only helped put my PTSD in complete remission but I started thriving. I’ve recently added creatine and I’m finding it helpful too MCT oil is the best supplement for the brain
In case this helps someone - if you can't digest MCT oil well, try having some lemon water or apple cider vinegar in water first. Sometimes you struggle to digest it because your stomach isn't acidic enough or something. I can't remember where I heard it, only that it helps for me.
raw cacao powder has more polyphenols than chocolate or cocoa.
MCT oil over a tsp causes issues for me. Switched to MCT oil powder cured that issue
I was having significant problems mental health and thinking wise during the pandemic for some reason (hard to say why) but after deciding to give Keto a shot (with help from Thomas’s videos) on day 10 my brain turned on and I was seriously crying with happiness. Years later I’m no longer full keto and still have the benefits as long as I focus on the full picture but it woke me up fully to the effects of lifestyle and diet to mental health.
