Most of the niches mentioned are actually more specializations, requiring substantial previous work experience at a good level to get into.
1. ML 2. Data Science 3. block chain 4. Cyber security 5. Dev Ops

None of these are a niche, in fact quite the opposite. A niche would imply that the examples given appeal to a small amount of the job market. They are in fact some of the more broader subjects, especially Cyber Security.
