Sam Sulek - The Only 10 Exercises Men Need To Build Muscle
Sam Sulek's Essential 10 Exercises for Maximum Muscle Growth
Discover the precise 10 exercises elite bodybuilder Sam Sulek would rely on if restricted to only ten movements for building the best physique possible. These selections prioritize consistent stimulus and muscle isolation over traditional heavy compound loading.
Short Summary
- Prioritize isolation and contraction in major muscle groups, selecting machines (like the leg extension) over variable free-weight strain for primary focus.
- Apply a balancing philosophy: pair heavy loading movements with lighter, squeeze-emphasized variations to maximize stimulus diversity.
- Include maintenance movements rarely chosen, such as the adductor machine and specific cardio equipment, for comprehensive development.
This discussion reveals Sam Sulek’s highly personalized top 10 list, covering legs, back, chest, arms, forearms, calves, and necessary cardio, emphasizing tools that allow for consistent tension regardless of daily fatigue or joint stress.

He articulates so well very easy to understand Sam no fancy words just straight up advice
The exercise selection kinda shows that even as big as he is, he’s still very “isolated” focused. Compare his answers to CBums, Dorians or even Phil Heaths. The maturity level shows in the exercise selection
“As for hamstrings…I’m torn”. Unfortunate metaphor Sam

Eddiehall named the abductor machine the Yes-No machine....
Sam is 100% right the seated leg curl is a much bigger stretch than the lying leg curl no matter how you lay. I like that he didnt bother arguing about it though lol
10:46 realising that 3.2mph is exactly 5km/h
