My results on reta: Lost 20kg in under a year. Saw changes in impulsive behaviour. Pretty much quit drinking alcohol. Not that I had a problem with it. Lost all joy in life too. Everything was grey. I could not even enjoy my favourite computer game. Stopped reta because of that. Regained 10kg. Stabilized at -10kg. My joy of life returned.
People are overdosing it. If you’re losing weight too fast, you’re depressed from too much of the drug inhibiting your brain, feeling pins and needles, it’s almost certainly from overdoing it. Just lower the dose. It’s a miracle drug.
Been on Reta for about a year and all of my blood markers are improved drastically, not to mention I walk around at 12% bf now. Lastly, I dont waste money shopping or buying things and saving money has never been easier.
I'm taking 1.5mg per week, the levels they were pushing trial participants to seem bonkers (10+mg per week). I find at 1.5mg that it takes food noise away while not completely obliterating appetite. Not experienced anhedonia, but it has taken the edge off some negative compulsive behaviours, so is an added bonus.
Much better sound this time.
Note however, glucagon antagonizes beta blocker medications. The mechanism is why you see elevated heart rate. May be contraindicated in cardiac patients.
Been on Reta now for 7 weeks. Lost no weight the first 4 weeks, but didn't really expect too. Over the following 3 weeks have lost 12 pounds, almost all from my belly, which is unusual. Usually the belly is the last place I lose fat, not the first. No real sides until this week. Sometimes my stomach feels a little upset out of the blue. Will last 30 to 60 minutes, then go away. Overall, so far, so good.
This was a really good video!
