The highest average concentration of nitrate is in arugula and then followed by beets. Not only does arugula have a higher average nitrate level, but it's also very low in oxalates, as opposed to beets which are quite high. Beyond that, there's a pretty high level of natural sugars in beets and arugula is quite low in carbohydrates in general. I make my own "supplement" with ~5 grams of arugula powder, ~5 grams of celery juice powder (also just below beets on the nitrate list), ~3 grams od matcha powder, and ~10 grams of maqui berry powder. I just mix them into 6-8 oz of water and drink in multiple sips to mix with some saliva....... the extra phenolics in matcha and maqui (i.e. epigallochatechin gallate, delphinidin form of anthocyanin, et cetera, et cetera) also greatly support nitric oxide production and vascular health.....

I work out a lot. I use tmg and l-citrulline to boost nitric oxide. End of story it works and it's very cheap

I was part of this study. It involved taking the supplement at home, swabbing your mouth for a nitric oxide score and sending the photo of the result to Paige Bailey. I was surprised that this was described as a clinical trial.

Dr Brad, your integrity is admirable. You are one of the few health experts who stand up for pure science backed facts. I like how you analyzed DoNotAge products, a company that has questionable marketing. They previously pushed NMN products and disliked that you were critical of NMN products. They thought they could reduce your criticism of NMN by occasionally sponsoring your research. Great to see you stand up for your idels and independence and not let yourself be bought. Keep it up, you are one of the few lights in this industry.
