Story 1: I always find stories like this hilarious. Where the only argument someone can make it “why are you stooping to their level” like…that isnt an argument. Op is NTA and hopefully Karen doesn’t do it anymore
"my other brothers say I'm being heartless" Your other brothers can take him in then.
"My brothers say-" sounds like they can take him in
If wife thinks it’s no big deal she can wake up early in the morning and move the trash cans and clean up the spilled over garbage, see if she thinks it’s no big deal then.
Story 3 reeks of golden child/scapegoat child the way the mom came to the defense of the sister. She's just as much an AH as the bitter sister.
Last story: SIL took advantage of OP’s grief to get free child care. She’s lucky OP didn’t immediately curse her out and walk out the second she volunteered OP to take care of her kid.
Let’s be real, all four stories in today’s episode involves trash in some way.
Last story: When my cat passed, I was pretty much useless for the next few days. He literally died in my arms as we drove to the vet to try to save him. It's been years now (lost him Oct 2023 - he was only 16) and I still get choked up thinking about it. OP acted more calmly than I would have.
S2: As soon as I heard "My other brothers got mad.." my face lit up. "Well maybe THEY can help the 'mentally ill' brother by taking him in!!"
Story 4 is at least 4/5 buttholes to me. Tfdym you saw someone on the verge of tears grieving a family member and your first action is "how can this benefit me?" and, when the person gets mad and leave, you accuse them, this is what SiL did but with childcare.
