This man deserves the medal of honor
We Vietnamese still remember him. 🇻🇳🇺🇲
Thank you for your service Hugh. You did the right thing and deserve the honor and recognition.
A true American hero. Amazing man.
MacArthur said “It is the duty of every soldier whether he be friend or foe to protect the weak and the innocent.”
Imagine being bullied for doing the right thing. Kuddos to him for being a man of moral and standing up for what’s right.
The deepest pits of hell are not enough for the monsters that killed those people
I saw Hugh twice in the Officer's Club at Fort Rucker, AL in the Spring of 1972. He was sitting at a table all alone and not one came near him. Some whispered, "Mt Lai, My Lai". I had no idea what My Lai was but I knew it was bad and he had something to do with it, so he too had to bad. I never saw him again and have always wish I could apologize to him. I am 75 now and I will never forget. Maybe he is on a cloud above and I can meet him then. CW4, Thomas H. Nadeau, Vietnam War Huey pilot.
A True soldier that never loss his morality.
As a Vietnam veteran, I would say, be a soldier and not a murderer. Thanks for your courage.❤
