My husband was in Vietnam. He passed in 2003 from lung, liver and bone cancer. He was 52 yrs old. The VA denies that the cancer was a direct result from the time he served in Vietnam. RIP Sweetheart❤😢

My dad and his cousin both served 2 tours in Vietnam. My dad came home, his cousin was killed. I just lost my dad on March 14 2025. RIP Dad and Roger🪽🕯🕊🇺🇸🇺🇸 we love you. Rest Easy. ❤️❤️
I’m 30 and have become good friends with my 80 almost 81( on June 1) year old neighbor Richard. Richard was an artillery man in the Vietnam war. He has taught me a lot and I value his friendship very much. God bless all of our Vets sad to see how they are treated!
My dad was a Marine, served in Vietnam 66-67. Saw things he rarely talked about. He brought the scars of the war home and treated the trauma by abusing alcohol. The 1970’s and part of the 80’s were difficult for our family as dad struggled with his addiction
I'm watching this because my grandpa, who served in Vietnam, just passed away. He loved to talk about it. He loved the brothers he served with and his country. I'll miss you, Grandpa.
Born in 1959 I remember my parents glued to the TV watching the evening news with Walter Cronkite, and watching this video brings back those memories of sitting on the floor watching along with my late parents😢
Hard to put into words how heavy this is. So many lives changed forever. Thanks for putting this together.
Aw man, I miss Bob Simon. Hell of a journalist.
The Cu Chi tunnels now have an entrance fee! They are a tourist spot.
