1. Start checking your numbers consistently. 2. Tighten your eating window and adjust food timing/volume. 3. Implement (extended) fasting. 4. Improve your sleep. 5. Eliminate carb creep and alcohol.
My 37-year-old son has been living with Parkinson’s for 18 years. Over time, he lost hope and became extremely sedentary. He also suffers from trigeminal neuralgia—an excruciating condition that only adds to his daily struggle. On Valentine’s Day in 2022, I lost my best friend. My son was deeply attached to his mother, and her passing hit him especially hard. I’ve tried every option and therapy I could find, but at this point, he’s simply getting by. As for me, I’ve lost 110 pounds since my wife passed—not by choice, but from a complete loss of appetite and interest in food. I force myself to eat at least one small meal a day, along with whey protein, just to maintain some level of strength and prevent further physical decline. Life can change in an instant. Don’t take anything for granted. Love your channel, the content, and the delivery of the content. God bless you Dr. Boz!
Thank you Dr Boz, as a Parkinson’s patient I felt like this was just for me. Steve, I hope you continue to do well. Please keep us updated.
I hate how hard it is to get strips out of keto mojo packaging.
What really stands out here is how easy it is to drift when something is “working well enough.” It’s not usually one big mistake, it’s the subtle shifts… a little carb creep, a little less awareness, a little less consistency. And over time, the body tells the truth, whether we’re looking or not. I also found it powerful that the turning point wasn’t just about doing more, it was about paying attention again. Checking the numbers, adjusting the rhythm, honoring sleep, timing, and structure. There’s something deeper here about self-responsibility and staying in relationship with your body instead of assuming it will just keep up. It’s a reminder that healing isn’t passive, it asks for participation, consistency, and sometimes uncomfortable honesty. And when that happens, the body can do some pretty remarkable things. Thank you Dr. Boz!
Dr. Boz says she doesn't use the F-word until 36 hours. An LOL moment 😂

Congratulations Steve! Outstanding job taking control of your health. Please keep up the great work! What you’re doing is the exception rather than the rule, and has really paid off.
