Can't wait for " For a few dollars more" Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef make an awesome duo!
Cassie, it wasnโt a bad props department. Banknotes used to be much larger in that era. Also, this was an era when individual banks used to print their own dollar bills.
The Outlaw Josey Wales is one of the best Clint Eastwood westerns,Hangโem High and Pale Rider are real good also
This is the movie Biff is watching with the ladies in his hot tub in Back to the Future II that Marty ends up copying at the end of Back to the Future III ๐
These spaghetti westerns, he was often called the man with no name.
This is the original spaghetti western, and the first of the Dollars Trilogy. The second film, โFor a Few Dollars Moreโ is my favorite of the three.
I love how the channel has made Cassie a fan of westerns, in defiance of her 12 year-old self. Looking forward to the sequel!
I was telling my wife about how every woman who watches these movies with young Clint in them, fawns over him. You were no exception!
Yes, "spaghetti western" is a silly name; it simply refers to a western film directed and produced by Italians. In Sergio Leone's case, many of his technicians were Italian, he chose one or two American stars, and he filmed in the Spanish desert (where the landscapes resemble the American West) with Spanish extras and Italian supporting actors. Everyone spoke their native language during filming; Clint Eastwood spoke his lines in English, and Gian Maria Volontรฉ responded with his in Italian. This didn't matter at all since Sergio Leone usually had everything dubbed later in post-production. This is one of the characteristics of Sergio Leone's westerns: there isn't really an original version since the live sound recording on set (where everyone speaks different languages) isn't kept in the final cut.
