Just watched the Car Nut doing maintenance on his newish Tundra. He is changing his oil every 2000 miles to "make sure", and the metal shavings I saw coming out of the rear differential with only 10,000 miles on the truck was telling. I miss the old days for sure.

Rebuilding engines and transmissions and replacing everything under the sun on older vehicles is the way to go for the next 10-20 years. Once there's no way to get parts on older cars, we'll all just be sucked up into leasing these made-to-fail-early-af piece of s*** new cars.
