SINCE THE COVID DEBACLE, I HAVE NO CONFIDENCE IN WHATEVER DOCTORS HAVE TO SAY ABOUT ANYTHING...

One thing that must stop are Incentives to doctors for prescribing medication. There should be no incentive other than the patient's well being for prescribing medication.

I learned in the last 5 years that if it’s “recommended”, then probably should do the opposite.

I am proud of you, that you continue to study and analyze, that you are willing to reach new conclusions, and that you don’t blindly accept everything that so-called authorities say.

My father's story highlights the danger of lowering blood pressure too far. He was a keen walker who lived to 101 and until his 90's his doctors always told him he had the heart and blood pressure of a 20 year old. When his blood pressure went up in his 90's (but still within the Gold Standard you mention in this video) he was put on bp medication. It dropped his blood pressure so low that he fainted ... while frying something on the electric stove. He fell onto the stove, knocking the frying pan off, and he landed with his arm across the hot burner. He received 3rd degree burns from his elbow to his hand which required two skin graft operations, in his mid 90's. His doctor then lowered the bp medication - the only medication he was taking. When my father died many years later, he did not die from a heart condition, but from starvation due to a blockage in his intestines - diagnosed too late to save him. Over a two week period he declined after living up to his last 4 days standing upright, walking unaided, still driving and mentally sharp. You may not want to hear this part - he had been a vegetarian (no meat or eggs) since his mid 40's and he lived many years longer than all his younger siblings and decades longer than his parents had, none of whom were vegetarian. He also died just before the Covid pandemic. A few months later and his cause of death might have been registered differently.

Im 46 with perfect blood pressure and perfect arteries no clogging. I take no prescriptions. I started farming 11 years ago and I only eat 3 types of oil olive oil, butter, and animal fats. I eat 90% of what I grow and buy a few organic things from the store. I used too have really high blood pressure and no energy and was really hurting. Now I make my own dairy, chicken and fish. I do my own food preservation. I grow everything from sweet potatoes to corn. I'm far from the big cities and have very little pollution to deal with. We have a spring that has 1mg of lithium per glass of water we figured. My garden loves it. I stopped all sodas but old fashioned herb based homemade sodas These things changed my health dramatically. I really believe processed foods are destroying our lives. At least I believe it was destroying my health. I applied to have the organic label, that's a joke. Don't ever think that has a real meaning. It just means the farmer has to use less of those toxic chemicals. Those toxins are still there. The only 2 ways to be sure your produce is truly organic is to buy from the Amish or grow it yourself

I exercise daily, i eat a low carb diet. My blood pressure was to high. I started using potassium capsules, fish oil, and Curcumine. The exercises, my diet, and the supplements brought my blood pressure down. In the beginning I took medication, but they made me sick, so I do it my way, the healthy way. Good luck doctor, with your good work! Greatings from the Netherlands

The change to 120/80 for everyone had only one motive: To get as many people as possible on blood pressure meds. Blood pressure, in healthy people, increases with age. We still need to keep it within the right range, but that range slides. The new standard is detrimental to older people based upon the side effects the elderly actually experience when their BP is artificially lowered to what, for them, is unhealthily low. They can experience light-headedness, dizzyness, weakness, and fatigue. It's criminal that the SPRINT trial hid this information. But their BP is low, so there's that.
