Over the holidays I was asked if I was doing The Weight loss Shot or weight loss surgery. I said that I am a Health champion of Dr Ekberg YouTube channel of soon of 3 years
I am 64 years old and just completed a 226 hour fast. I did suffer fatigue starting about 20 hours into the fast but i started getting energy about 60 hours into the fast. At 80 hours i was in high therapeutic ketosis. Energy level and alertness were high. Inflammation seemed almost nonexistent. My blood sugar never went below 66. I took electrolytes and supplements. I lost 13 pounds but gained back 4 pounds after resuming a Keto diet. This was my third long fast in the last 9 months. My first fast was 168 hours. I was inspired by Dr Ekburgs videos. A unexpected thing happened towards the end of my first fast. I had been suffering with idiopathic hives for almost 2 years that doctors could only treat the symptoms with antihistamines. After that first fast I decided to go off my antihistamines to see if the fast had changed my immune system. My hives did not return. I can’t say for sure if the fast was responsible for curing my hives but something changed during my fast that seemed to cure me. I will try to do a 100 fast every month because they seem to have a positive and therapeutic effect on my body.
My wife and I have been OMAD for over two years. To make this work, you have to be in ketosis eating a serious keto or carnivore diet to get enough nutrition and to normalize hunger. Oh, she is 71 and I am 68.

After a few years of strict carnivore, l experienced an ability to go longer and longer periods of time between meals Now my evening meal is six pastured yolks and a pound of primal grass fed 75/25 primal beef/ liver/heart slow cooked in tallow and butter. Once a week l have a few cans of sardines with mashed avocado. It took a while to establish this protocol. It is a training . And l am able to do periodic 7 day fasts with little hunger But it took time for the metabolic shift
Merry Christmas from Thessaloniki, Hellas. In healthy keto since 1st of September. I am 1,87m tall and began from 138kgr. Currently 113kg. I was a skeptic but no more. Now i am a believer and i pray to God to give me strength to keep on ketoing for life.
For breakfast I Eat non dairy yogurt and add ground spices to the yogurt like cayenne pepper, turmeric, ginger, garlic, Paprika, etc. and mix it up and add blackberries. Then around 5 pm I eat an egg omelet with chopped spinach herbs and onions mixed together with avocado oil and add to the egg omelet or canned tuna and that fiber helps my digestive issues. I do eat dark chocolate or powdered cacao chocolate mixed with my mushroom coffee and take lots of vitamins. Also use a trampoline and get out in Florida sunshine as much as I can. I feel fantastic and I'm pushing 80 right out of the way and have lots of energy to do all my many chores as a housekeeper ... My health is very important to me. ❣️
