Tire pressure of 71psi is unbelievable -- that's motorhome territory.
We own one. We did our own 80mph range test on a 110F day in Phoenix. We got 360 miles. Just as an FYI.
For us Europeans this is simply the United States in one car oversized, over powerd, heavyweight SUV land yacht for the road 😅😅😅. It's just insane to see battery size used and the weight of it is insane, here in Slovenia ypu would need a proper truck license to drive it 😅 Great video keep it up 👍
Clint implying that anyone under 6ft is not an adult? I laughed hard 🤣
Probably need to fortify my concrete driveway
A few nearby neighbors drive these things and man are they gargantuan. Definitely has a lot of presence (and mass) on the streets. My local Cadillac dealer's showroom had five of these lined up on the showroom floor, plus two Lyric Vs, a Vistiq, and five Optiqs. Not a single ICE vehicle to be seen in the showroom.
It has one of the best battery durabilities in the u.s ev market; it uses GM-ultium developed large pouch 80% nickel content NCMA cathode cells with 270wh/kg energy density(they can achieve industry leading 300 wh/kg with 90% nickel ratio)and impressive 3200 cycle life(highest cycle life in nickel based cathode pouch industry because of NCMA chemistery);meaning it has similar battery longevity as best CATL prismatic NMC battery cells used in porsche and MB evs(similar 3200 cycles);meaning according to its EPA range it has 93% capacity retention at amazing 250,000 mile of mileage(tesla evs lose 20% of capacity at that mileage);cadillac really cooked something
For $160k, you shouldn't have to add an option package for power captain's chairs in the second row.
I just love how for "luxury" SUVs, you buy one because you want a comfortable ride, but because you have 24in wheels you need sophisticated magnetic dampers and air suspension to compensate. It's all about dreaming up an unnecessary problem, so that you can have an unnecessary solution for.
Do you think this is the best electric luxury SUV on sale? Let us know in the comments!
