Now, notice how I called this movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III and NOT Teenage Mutant Ninja Turltes 3: Turtles in Time….like it’s more popularly called. That’s because this movie was never produced with the “Turtles in Time” title at all. Fans would just call it “Turtles in Time” because there was a Ninja Turtles arcade game released in 1991 called “TMNT: Turtles in Time” that would later be adapted into a Super Nintendo video game in 1992 called “TMNT IV: Turtles in Time”.
