My daughter and her husband believe they eat healthily. They eat whole grains, a plethora of fruit, pulses, meat. Roughly every two hours they consume something or drink something they consider healthy. I meanwhile can go 7,8,9 - 22 hours between my carnivore meals. I made my daughter bacon and eggs this morning, she gave me some of her eggs and bacon - ‘too much’ she said. Then started to eat grapes. They have no idea they are carb addicts. 😢 I feel I am on the outside looking in at lab rats. 😢

What an intelligent & well-balanced lesson - all true as per my experience. I changed my diet to 100% carnivore 16 months ago... Today I am completely healed from all addictions, mental health, all inflamation, I lost all access weight, I gained beautiful strong muscle. I save time & money before spend on unhealthy groceries - now I eat meat and fat once a day - I am in ketosis most of the time and I am the healthiest and happiest I have ever been in my life - it feels like a miracle and it was super easy to achieve because you are never hungry anymore. I am 61 yrs old and feel 20 yrs younger since I changed my lifestyle to carnivore. I got a second chance at life and a promising future... Try it, it will change your life forever. God bless

I started a Carnivore/Keto diet in November 2025, mainly to lose some weight. I went off the wagon a few times during Christmas and overseas holidays as I couldn’t find animal-based foods while travelling. I came back in pain, bloated, constipated, and feeling miserable, then decided to stick to a ketogenic diet from February 2026. Since then, I’ve learnt a lot about how my body works, when I’m in ketosis, electrolytes, and the extended health benefits. I have discovered a new me (post-menopause) at the age of 53. I have never felt this energetic and calm in my entire life. The only challenge I still face is other people’s judgement of this way of eating and social pressures, including from my own family members. There is external pressure from others to quit this diet, and temptations are all around. It is hard to resist these temptations when you are in a social setting (including family) and everyone is still consuming the SAD diet. You cannot control what others think or eat. You just need to be strong in a social setting so you can say NO, and prepare yourself for being judged and criticised often. BTW I still cook for others in my household what they eat: food like curries, rice, pastas, desserts, breads etc but I stick to mainly red meats, chicken, eggs, sardines, salmon butter, ghee only. I do drink black coffee with MCT oil first thing in the morning and I can continue with longer fasting window 20-22 hours almost everyday. Occasionally I might still have a dessert as I’m still human 😅

Ketogenic for 2 years now. Have always had alot of anxiety. It has helped tremendously. I don't eat carbs just for physical health, I avoid carbs to stay calm. It really works.
