People need to realise creatine is manufactured from the biggest waste/toxic products on earth, they come from coal tar, petroleum and limestone (yes really). They then have to pass all these through incredible synthesising, bleaching, filtering processes to make it into this powder which its molecular structure resembles that of creatine found in meet. How can health professional keep touting this supplement when by all logic it is toxic and not meant for human consumption

Thanks for stressing the importance of getting the Basics (such as vitamins) down first, before turning to more obscure expensive treatments!! Dr. Bredesen mentions niacinamide, a form of vitamin B3 (niacin). The whole B Complex is KEY to mitochondrial energetics; the brain is richest in mitochondria & therefore very dependent on B Vitamins. (Just avoid folic acid, which BLOCKS folate/B9 absorption.) Dr. B also says many are deficient in magnesium, which is a B Vitamin co-factor. He also mentions Omega-3, which likewise helps B Vitamins work optimally according to Oxford research. Vitamin D also is a potent anti-inflammatory.

In other words take a lot of stuff. I do anyway but not the fringe stuff he said to take and I include creatine in that fringe. I won't take creatine, don't need it. I take enough other stuff. I take mushrooms too and certain herbs but I constantly learn too and write. I SIGNIFICANTLY reversed my lowered intelligence on the road to dementia BECAUSE I WAS UNDER EXTREME STRESS TOO DAMN LONG. NO it did NOT go away, it got worse but I got better because of the brain supplements I was taking and what I was doing which did NOT include being around other people at all because I couldn't do that for YEARS. I also have several degrees. When the safety data is available I MIGHT take peptides MIGHT. They tend to say things are safe to take then change their mind after many are harmed. Same goes for stem cells and other things he mentioned. Just because he's a neurologist does NOT mean he knows everything which is safe to take and won't cause more harm to other organs besides your brain. i ALWAYS thought you could reverse it IF you had the RIGHT help.
