At 60 years old and on mounjaro, I’m FINALLY at a perfect weight for me, I practice yoga daily and lift weights, I’m eating so well and taking in more water and protein than ever in my life. My gout pain is gone, depression has lessened, and I feel younger, more fit, and more energetic than ever .
Not gonna lie. I teared up hearing you speak about how much someone struggling with their weight thinks about it every moment of every day. I don’t think people understand this.
I’ve gained and lost 100 lbs five times in my life. I have learned SO much. Each time figuring out more about myself, my disorder, and how to heal. People who don’t have food struggles truly don’t understand.
“It’s okay to get help with weight loss “ This will save someone from suicidal thoughts. Or depression. This needs to go viral!
Omg the first line “weight loss doesn’t have to control your life”……❤. I’m down 37lbs….just a little more to go! I’ve been doing it with lifestyle choices but, I don’t begrudge anyone utilizing tools available to reach their goals! We all struggle together!
I wasn't able to describe what it feels like to not think about food all the time... yes it's liberating! I feel like I'm free from being a prisoner of my own mind. Food is a necessity but when your addiction far exceeds the proper intake food becomes your enemy. It's becomes your master. It was so exhausting. I am so grateful for the medication and my doctor!
I’ve been taking Zepbound for 11 months. 72 pounds gone!!! This drug has truly changed my life!!!! Truly. 🎉
Insurance needs to pay for GLP1 medication and would ultimately save them money in the future by avoiding diabetes, cancer and heart disease.
I think about my weight every single day multiple times a day
What stood out to me is how the conversation reframes obesity management as a long-term physiological process rather than a short-term lifestyle experiment. When science, clinical care, and daily habits are aligned, the focus shifts from blame to sustainable outcomes. That shift alone changes how patients and providers approach real progress.
