A HARROWING TRUTH IS REVEALED AS THE ALLIES PUSH GERMANY TO SURRENDER... In Episode 7 – “The Breaking Point”, Easy Company faces the brutal realities of the Battle of the Bulge. Under the unstable leadership of Lt. Dike, the company suffers heavy losses until the arrival of Lt. Ronald Speirs (Matthew Settle – Gossip Girl, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer), delivering one of the most iconic moments in the series—his fearless solo run through enemy lines to rally the troops. Episode 8 – “The Last Patrol” shifts focus to a quieter but morally complex mission, as Easy Company is ordered on a dangerous night patrol after Germany’s surrender feels imminent. This episode highlights leadership tensions and features strong performances from Damian Lewis (Homeland, Billions) as Major Richard Winters and Ron Livingston (Office Space, The Conjuring) as Captain Lewis Nixon. In Episode 9 – “Why We Fight”, the series delivers one of its most devastating and powerful moments as Easy Company discovers a concentration camp. The emotional weight of this episode is carried by the ensemble, including Scott Grimes (American Dad, The Orville) as Donald Malarkey and Ross McCall (Green Street Hooligans, White Collar) as Joseph Liebgott, confronting the horrors of the Holocaust. Finally, Episode 10 – “Points” brings the story to a reflective close as the war ends and the soldiers grapple with what comes next. With baseball games in the Austrian countryside and uncertainty about returning home, the finale offers a poignant sendoff to Easy Company. The episode also highlights Donnie Wahlberg (Blue Bloods, Saw II) as Carwood Lipton, whose leadership journey comes full circle. Andrew & John discuss the most memorable scenes, character arcs, historical impact, and why Band of Brothers remains one of the greatest war series ever made—from Speirs’ legendary charge to the sobering liberation of the camp and the emotional final moments. #BandOfBrothers #WWII #HBOMax #WarDrama #EasyCompany #BandOfBrothersReaction #BandOfBrothersReview #History #WWIIStories #TVReaction #Miniseries #React #ReactTo #Reaction Saving Private Ryan (1998) Movie Reaction: https://youtu.be/k96AuonLdDA Fury (2014) Movie Reaction & Review: https://youtu.be/M5Ebbsrd__w Black Hawk Down (2001) Movie Reaction & Review: https://youtu.be/OaYYriafiSs SISU (2022) Movie Reaction: https://youtu.be/h1DDgXkIGJA Follow *Andrew Gordon* https://www.youtube.com/@MovieSource https://www.instagram.com/agor711/?hl=en https://twitter.com/Agor711 0:00 Checking In! 1:23 Band of Brothers Ep 7 Reaction 40:55 Band of Brothers Ep 8 Reaction 01:01:00 Band of Brothers Ep 9 Reaction 01:28:19 Band of Brothers Ep 10 Reaction 02:02:57 Band of Brothers Review Intense Suspense by Audionautix is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ RR Clips & Shorts Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@ReelRejectsClips Follow TheReelRejects On The Socials: IG: https://www.instagram.com/reelrejects/ TT: https://www.tiktok.com/@thereelrejects?lang=en TWITTER: https://twitter.com/thereelrejects FB: https://www.facebook.com/TheReelRejects/ Music Used In Ad: Hat the Jazz by Twin Musicom is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Happy Alley by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Head Editor: https://www.instagram.com/prapermedia Supervising Producer: https://twitter.com/nerdchronic?lang=en Co-Editor: Greg Alba Co-Editor: John Humphrey Music In Video: Airport Lounge - Disco Ultralounge by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Follow & Listen to Us Wherever You Get Your Podcasts!! - https://open.spotify.com/show/3XHMwbveiznxSOGxN9XT0M - https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkcy5tZWdhcGhvbmUuZm0vc3Rhci13YXJzLXRhbGs - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-reel-rejects-tv-movie-recaps/id1616339990 - https://www.audible.com/pd/The-Apocalypse-Podcast/B08JJP58FG PLAYLISTS: Movie Reviews: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-bIhJVeYWw-comtadVs8b9JsZEWHUyr8 Sketches & Short Films: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-bIhJVeYWw_zWuTRfBOUP3aYyIYRzc2y

Reel Rejects, just a heads up there is Band of Brothers special called "We Stand Alone Together" that is a must see. Also, there are two companion series that go along side Band of Brothers called The Pacific and Masters of the Air that I'd l9ve to see you two react to.

To move from enlisted to officer you have to be discharged as enlisted before you can become an officer.

The concentration camp reveal was absolutely devastating

The heartbreaking thing about the camp scene is that the actors were terminally ill cancer patients and going through chemotherapy at the time. The actors told the creators to show them at their worst so people could see the horrific events that unfolded and the main cast didn’t see them until filming so their reaction to how they looked is very real.

Don't leave out the documentary "We Stand Alone Together". It is widely considered the 11th episode.

35:02 - It wasn't Speirs they said that about. It was Lt. Shames, the platoon leader in E Company they were actually showing on screen yelling at everyone when that statement was made. They weren't trying to trick you.

Appropriate that the rest of the series should drop today, May 8th. Happy VE Day to all.

Lipton's "Honorable Discharge" was not him physically going anywhere. It was their way of saying he's leaving NCO-ranks and entering those of an officer.
