The Big Five B2B SaaS Marketing Strategies in the Age of AI
Discover the five core B2B SaaS marketing strategies that consistently move the needle, and learn the framework to prioritize which channel to focus on now, factoring in AI's impact and your current pricing model.
Short Summary
- Master five proven B2B SaaS marketing strategies: Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Pay-Per-Click (PPC), Cold Outreach, Integration Marketing, and Content Marketing.
- Understand how AI is affecting each channel, which primarily demands more focus on quality, timing, and human expertise.
- Apply the Three Factor Framework (Speed, Cost, Scalability) tailored to your Annual Contract Value (ACV) to select your immediate marketing focus.
- Learn that successful scaling often relies on dominating just one or two channels, not spreading efforts too thin across many.
This guide breaks down the five major marketing strategies effective for B2B SaaS companies, as identified by Rob Walling, an investor in over 230 SaaS firms. It updates these common approaches for 2026 by integrating the influence of AI while emphasizing that timeless fundamentals like targeting and quality content remain crucial. The content concludes by providing a practical prioritization framework to help founders efficiently select and execute their next marketing steps.

Did this channel got renamed recently? I know you but I think the name of the channel was different. Or are there two different channels?
How does one find a signal?
Thank you, I loved the cold outreach tip. It really comes down to whether the email is considered spam or not 🎯
"MCP is emerging as a new standard" 🤣 Was this video script written 6 months ago?! The hype has already evaporated. MCP will be a distant memory by the end of 2026 – except in laggard "enterprise" software perhaps.
One problem with integrations. All theses companies ROI is being replaced by autonomous workflows driven by AI agents. Rather than spend dev time on integrations (tightly scripted API behavior), build AI autonomous workflows in your product (Claude /loop - Dispatch and agentmail). The ROI for the customer is 10x over your integration partner.
SAAS is over dude. AI has made your model defunct

3:40 you could use some ad network such as plenty of fish 🐟🐟🐟🐟
Have you made a video about how to get the idea to do service/saas? and I don't mean it by "make up an idea for saas". Were you mentioning in one of your videos, how one can "expose" oneself to the ideas from the market? What are the best strategies to "expose" ourselves to the opportunities as devs? I know few answers to that question, but I am curious about your take for that question. Have a nice day :)
