Did you notice that Derek's wife's first thought was that the leak was HER fault? I wouldn't be surprised if Derek is abusive and gaslights her too.

Story 1: As a victim of bullying myself, this revenge is SATISFYING. Especially when OP hit Derek with the same words he gave OP 20 years ago. You dug your own grave buddy, now lay in it.

Story 1: This wasn't about the Batman Figure, if he hadn't also committed defamation on OP and basically ran him out of the school, then OP probably would have been a lot tamer against him. The guy also couldn't call OP out because he's an AH to literally everyone, so no one would believe him against someone with a perfect reputation.

First story: Derek dug his own grave. OP was just the harbinger of revenge.

*1st Story:* The fact that Derek _knows_ he mistreated OP but won't say or show remorse for his actions while still asking for help just shows how little he's changed.

Last story is even better than rSlash thinks. It was triple revenge and one rescue. OP rescued John from having his life ruined any further by Lauren, had revenge against John's dad by revealing how awful he was to sleep with his own son's partner behind his back, more revenge against his own dad by actively showing him how much value Lauren removed from his life in sabotaging the house sale as well as cutting him off entirely in the end, and prime revenge against Lauren by simply revealing her dreadful actions and not allowing her to profit off the relationship she had with OP's dad. Sadly, none of that properly makes up for the actual abuse the OP endured. But at least it made the OP feel better.

Story 2: I have to wonder why Lauren did any of that. You marry someone who already has a child and you just decide "I'm gonna make this kid's childhood a living hell." Though writing that it pretty much sounds like your typical "Bully that never grew up" parent

That first story was more The Penguin level revenge. Real villain shit.

Story 2: part of me, kind of wishes OP did take more revenge on dad. You can say he was being manipulated if you want, but there is no excuse for abusing your child. Still the he absolutely got revenge on her. They both seek to ruin each other’s lives. He just did it better.

story one: i hate parents who think bullying your kids more will toughen them up.
