CPS actually doing something good for once?
Story 1: Lying to CPS makes you TA. Telling the truth to CPS doesn't.
Story 1: NTA. Good for friend's parents. Neglect is still neglect even if done under cover of generosity.
Story 1: Man i always feel terrible for the scapegoat kids like Op :/ Poor kid is being abused and neglected by his awful parents…and now people are trying to convince him that HE is the bad guy for being upset about the abuse… NTA
Story 2: FFS don't be friends with this trash anymore.
Story 2: …what specifically is the asshole “friends” argument here…? “how DARE you not let me torture you with the heat…oh but you leaving is also wrong cause it makes me look bad” SMH NTA Op
If the parents care so much about their extended family and friends, why don't they give up their bedroom first? Why immediately make the eldest child give up theirs?
For story three , if you cannot afford a wedding , especially a destination wedding , then don't have a wedding
Story 2: First, he refused to turn on the AC, then refused to let them out. Thank God they got away.
OP in story 1 will more than likely disappear as soon as he turns 18 because it's obvious his parents are treating their kids last compared to everyone else
