Under CPM, at least when I was in school, teachers are NOT allowed to teach Math the old way, even if a student needs it. We actually had a teacher in my school district get reprimanded for doing just that, so this poor kid could pass the damn class

First story, there is a difference between having a fantasy and being actually delusional. She needs therapy. She is ruining her life and social life because of a delusion and the jealousy that resulted from it.

I'm a grown woman who would ALSO feel jealous if my "friend" was seemingly more appealing to men I was interested in, put me down, and managed to find a chance with an uber rich dude. I think she may be mostly upset about not being as desirable and is attaching her pain at not being "pretty" to the wrong aspect because she doesn't want to focus on the issue being herself.

That story with the hair is 100% physical (and mental) abuse. The step-father didn't care about what the son was doing, he just wanted any excuse to make him cut his hair short because he thought it was too girly. 100% divorce territory.

The last story is very similar to why my sister was pulled out of school and homeschooled. Not every student learns the same way & if you mark them down because they got the right answer but not the way you taught them, you should not be teaching.
