2nd story: No, RSlash, the parents deserve a score of 4.5 or higher. This is literally a golden child / scapegoat child situation. OP needs to go crash with a friend.
Ruined dress: ruin her dental work. All it takes is one savage lesson.
Story 2: For every smug entitled brat, there's more often than not a fawning, enabling FAILURE of a parent.
First Story, NTA: Crazy how OP's mom says OP is bad with money but she blew $6k over a period of time. OP is now an adult and shouldn’t need his mom's permission to access money given to HIM.
4:26 "You're basically being a clown in a digital circus" Dude. Say that again.
The dress story: if OPs direct family is close to the extended family, op should bring this to them, and let the flying monkeys shame the parents into compensation.
story 2, NTA: it was ops dress that SHE bought with HER money, not only did she have the right to uninvite the sister from her birthday, but she should've made the sister pay back every cent
Imagine going out of your way, finding someone named Nicole, and befriending her. That is dedication, and just plain insane not to mention like I imagine really hard to do. Then she has to get her interested in going out with this OP, and then what? I mean, what did she honestly think was gonna happen? And did she tell the new Nicole the truth prior to the incident, because if so holy crap and if not I wish I knew that story.
The digital circus bit made me feel like a sleeper agent being awoken
The last story: OP was manipulated into going on a date with someone under false pretenses. He was definitely not the asshole.
