They didn't sit on their asses the whole day!
They were on the move always and had high amount of physical exercise. Not sitting in front of a computer.
I visited Norway this summer. They eat a ton of fish and other seafood, along with meats like venison (reindeer), eggs, and other high protein foods. Yes there are root vegetables but not in overwhelming amounts. I felt great eating the food, perhaps it has something to do with my Norwegian heritage. By the way, the landscape is spectacular and the air and water are clean. Generally, the only obese people I saw were American tourists.
Vikings eating potatoes. Well, you definitely got my attention. That must have been that unrecorded expedition to South America by Leif Erickson. 😄
It’s fascinating to think about how the Vikings managed their health while eating so many carbs. I’ve noticed that balancing my own diet with a focus on whole foods, like steak and eggs, has helped me stay lean. Alongside that, I’ve added some supplements from a book called Secret Supplements that turn you into a Superhuman. Berberine has been particularly helpful for balancing blood sugar and supporting my metabolism.
Potatoes, sweet potato and cassava are from Central or South America. I think it's safe to say the Vikings weren't consuming those particular root vegetables.
Their carbs weren’t processed like ours
Great video, also, that thumbnail is FIRE :D
That was a good video that made a lot of sence!
Bring a Viking on the show and let him tell us what he ate 🤔
